Newcastle can turn to its youth in the Championship

Newcastle United have not had the best run this season.Their best form came after the sacking of Steve McClaren and the arrival of Rafa Benitez.

Rafa Benitez took charge and immediately impacted the players and staff, so much so that he managed to bring them up to a current 5-game-undefeated run. This is an impressive tally for even the best of managers.

Despite Rafa’s best efforts, Newcastle United is a club who’ve been confirmed of relegation midweek when Sunderland beat Everton 3-0. This has brought hostility amongst the fans and ex-players alike.

Famous Newcastle United players have repeatedly expressed their distaste towards the way in which their old club is being torn apart from the outside in.

There is no thought-out composure within each move the club makes and it has left Newcastle in one of the most stressful situations in quite some time.

Not only have they missed out on several(actually, way more than just several) million pounds if they had stayed in the Premier League, but now they also have to allow for the fact that many big (and relatively new) signings will be walking out the door at the first chance they get.

This, however badly it’s taken, will allow for the younger players to prove themselves worthy of being at a club of this stature.

These players include the likes of Ivan Toney and Adam Armstrong. Not only are these players young but they are formidable strikers with both being able to present themselves well for Newcastle United and their Championship teams.

Adam Armstrong could play a very important role when he arrives back in Newcastle.

The striker’s goal ratio was phenomenal for Coventry City where he scored a total of 20 goals during his loan.

Adam Armstrong certainly isn’t problem-solved for Newcastle United during their Championship run but he will do wonders for the club because of his fresh history with the Championship and his proven ability to score when it matters most.
