This is something that we’ve decided to start doing due to the immense number of people that use the team of the week to make a bit of a profit in FIFA Ultimate Team. Although obviously not the official list, this is a list of the players that we think will make it into the team of the week(the edition that’s going to come out this week).

I am going to divide this predicted lineup into three sections so that you get to pick and choose which players you want to pick up from the market. The first section, called the ‘Big Names’, are the players that are renowned in the footballing world and names that potentially anyone who doesn’t even play soccer will recognize (e.g. Messi, Suarez, Neymar, Ronaldo, Rooney, Ibrahimovic, etc.). After them are the ‘Big Bets’, players that are either rising stars or those that are not in the world class category, not yet anyway. In short, these are the guys that most people will likely invest into because of their reasonable price tags (e.g. Pedro, Willian, Kane, Busquets, Müller, Aubameyang, etc.). And last but not least are the ‘Big Risks’, which are players that are largely unheard of outside of the footballing world, but are either currently on fire or growing into a more renowned player (e.g. Lucas Pérez, Dmitri Payet, Lanzini, Kurzawa, etc.).
- The Big Names – Ibrahimovic, Suarez, Messi.
- The Big Bets – Juan Cuadrado, Paulo Dybala, Romelu Lukaku, Raffael, Riyad Mahrez.
- The Big Risks – Robert Huth, Heurelho Gomes, Kieran Trippier, Idrissa Gueye(Aston Villa), Wagué(Udinese), Rajkovic(Darmstadt), Gentner(Stuttgart).
This edition might not be as exciting in terms of Team of the Week since not many ‘big’ players performed well enough this last weekend. So, try and make do with some of the ones lower on the ranks, like the ones with a higher risk(i.e. The Big Risks) because even though they might not make you as much money, they could make you enough to make you very happy. I would particularly emphasize on the Cuadrado card ‘coz I think this is going to be his first card this FIFA season that’s going to be in-form(correct me if I’m wrong here) which if you know, is quite a big thing.
