The internet has been loving the Irish fans in France this summer–and for good reason. The beginning of the tournament showed trouble with the English (surprise, surprise) and Russian–an actual Russian MP praised the Russian hooliganism–fans fighting, and causing mayhem. Irish fans, however, have been nothing but pleasant–so pleasant in fact that various videos of Irish fans have been going viral on reddit. After denting the roof of a car, the Irish lads were quick to repent with a chant of “fix the car, for the boys in green”. They stuffed money into the windows, and then even fixed the roof themselves.
Their car expertise seems to go on further than that, when a group of Irish lads stopped to change the tire of an elderly French couple.

They even lifted a cyclist up and passed him through the crowd.
And if Shane Long’s work rate or Robbie Brady’s head doesn’t get Ireland to the quarter-finals, they can always sign up this horse!
